Request Re-issue for a VEHCS Certificate |

The request re-issue certificate feature is used when an AV user needs to replace an endorsed/completed HC issued through VEHCS due to an error on the health certificate. An AV can request a re-issuance for any HC associated with his/her organization. The request must be completed in the session it was initiated or the request is cancelled.
To request a re-issue:
1. On the left menu click View Certificates. RESULT: The View Certificates screen appears. 2. Search for Completed certificates. 3. Click on Manage. RESULT: The Manage Certificate screen appears. 4. Select Re-issue Request Certificate from the dropdown. RESULT: The Reissue Reason text block appears. 5. Enter the reason for requesting the re-issue and click Select. RESULT: The first Certificate Step by Step screen or the Fillable PDF Step by Step screen displays depending on the HC type being replaced. 6. Review each Step by Step screen; make edits as needed. NOTE: The Accredited Veterinarian and Certification Statements are not carried over from the original HC and must be selected. 7. When complete, submit the certificate. RESULT: A confirmation screen appears with the tracking number of the replacement HC. The original HC remains in Completed status until the replacement HC is endorsed and completed. When the replacement is completed, the original HC is updated to Void status.
