VEHCS Defined Heal th certificate : General - Field Options

The General – Field Options Page allows you to define additional fields needed for the VEHCS defined health certificate definition.

To define additional fields, do the following:

•	Select the Require Inspection Date Field check box if inspection date is a required field for the certificate type. The Inspection Date Field will always display on the General page of the certificate creation process, this selection only determines whether or not it is a required field.

•	Select the Require NPIP Code Field check box if NPIP Code is required for the certificate type. The NPIP Code field will not display on the General page of the certificate creation process if this check box is not selected.

•	Select the Require Feedlot Fields check box if Feedlot Fields are required for the certificate type. The Feedlot Fields will not display on the General page of the certificate creation process if this check box is not selected.

•	Select the Display Transport Vehicle Seals section check box if the Transport Vehicle Seals section should be included on the certificate PDF for the certificate type.

•	Define any additional fields needed for this certificate type in the Additional Field Properties table. You must enter the Field Label, Data Type, and Maximum Characters if prompted. Check the Required check box for fields that should be required during the certificate creation process.

VEHCS Defined PDF Health Certificate : Additional Field Data Mapping

To add additional fields that will display on the General page on the external user screen for the VEHCS Defined PDF Health Certificate type, please follow the steps below.

•	Enter field label, required indicator, data type and maximum characters if prompted. These fields will print on Health Certificate after the commodities and before the Certification Statements.

NOTE: Additional fields will not display if there are no AF tags were entered on the Draft PDF.

HELPFUL HINT: You may enter certificate information in any order by selecting the links at the left of the screen; for example, you can enter Certificate Content information and then Commodities information. In this Help file, data entry into the certificate will be explained sequentially as if using the Next button. At the bottom of each page the Previous, Cancel, Save, and Next buttons are available.

The type of Certificate Definition (Certificate Content) is always displayed at the top of each Definition screen.
