Create new VEHCS Defined Export Health Certificate Definition

VS Admins can define new VEHCS Defined Export Health Certificates that will be accessible by all users who create certificates.

 

To create a VEHCS defined Export Health Certificate definition, complete the following steps:

1.Select the VEHCS Administration link from the left menu.

RESULT: The Administration submenu displays.

2.Select VEHCS Defined Health certificate from the left submenu.

RESULT: The VEHCS Defined Health Certificates page appears.

3.Click the Create New button and enter the required information on each of the Definition Step by Step pages.

NOTE: A minimum of Destination Country, Commodity Type, and Effective Date are required in order to save a certificate definition. A certificate definition will not be available for certificate creation until it is activated and the effective date is less than or equal to the current date.

 

To update or inactivate a VEHCS defined Export Health Certificate definition, complete the following steps:

1.Select the VEHCS Administration link from the left menu.

RESULT: The Administration submenu displays.

2.Select VEHCS Defined Health certificate from the left submenu.

RESULT: The VEHCS Defined Health Certificates page appears.

3.To update a certificate definition, click the corresponding View/Edit button.

RESULT: The Define a VEHCS Defined Health Certificate page appears with the existing Certificate Content displayed.

A.Update selected data information on each of the Definition Step by Step pages and click the Save button.

RESULT: “The VEHCS Defined Certificate Definition was successfully activated.” Message will display at the top of the page.

NOTE: The General, Commodities, and Certification Table information cannot be edited for Predefined certificate definitions.

4.To inactivate a certificate definition, select the Inactivate button.

RESULT: “The VEHCS Defined Certificate Definition was successfully saved.” Message will display at the top of the page.
